Relayt provides d/Deaf job candidates visibility and autonomy in finding the best interpreter for their needs.

By communicating and collaborating before and after the interview, candidates and interpreters can build trust and establish long-term working relationships.

PROBLEM SPACE

Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) people have historically experienced higher rates of unemployment and underemployment than people without hearing loss.

What hurts Deaf people’s chances of employment most is the current job interview experience. Currently, d/Deaf job candidates are blindly matched with an ASL interpreter, and their skills and experiences are not accurately reprsented.
