Jane is a cannabis marketplace that allows customers and patients to purchase directly from local dispensaries online.
I led the redesign of the Business Dashboard, Jane’s business management solution where dispensaries can customize, track and maintain their online storefronts.
SCOPE
This project was an end-to-end redesign of the Business Dashboard, which involved redesigning 9 key product flows and completing over 60 feature requests.
The project required creating an effective information architecture and managing the design system to ensure consistency throughout the design.
Additionally, the project involved supporting design QA to ensure that the design met the requirements and expectations of the stakeholders.
OVERALL DESIGN ISSUES
Unintuitive UX
The Business Dashboard became overly complex as new features were added, making it less intuitive for dispensary partners to use. This led to increased reliance on Jane's Partner Success team for support.
Confusing wayfinding
Dispensary partners struggled to find desired content and functionality within the old experience.
Unorganized interface
The UI suffered from poor information organization and clarity, making it challenging for partners to navigate the platform effectively.
